May I keep my current long distance company?
NO. You need to make a change of long distance to be able to use AllCom. If you don't want to switch long distance check our Access Code services.

How long will it take for my service to be switched over to AllCom?
Your line(s) should be switched within 3 to 5 business days. 5 days after submitting your order, call 1 (700) 555-4141 from your line(s)  -A pre-recorded message will tell you who is your long distance carrier-
If you hear: "Your long distance service is now active, 5102", all is fine. If you hear anything else, give us a call.
.
Do your calling plans have monthly fees or a minimum number of minutes I have to use each month?
No fees

Are your rates available 24 hours a day & 7 days a week?
Yes, they are.

What does increment mean?
ALL domestic calls are billed by the second after a 30 second minimum. All international calls are billed by the second after a 60 second minimum. This means that instead of being billed for a full minute, you are only billed for the portion of the minute that you use. For example, if your call lasts 1 minute and 2 seconds you will be billed 1 minute and 2 seconds instead of 2 full minutes.

What are "local toll", "intra-lata" or "regional toll" calls?
These are calls that can occur within your area code, but your local provider charges them call by call in addition of your flat-fee deal. You can choose to have these calls billed by your local carrier or by AllCom. We bill all the "Intra-Lata" calls the same as your in-state rate.

Will charges from AllCom appear on my regular phone bill?
No. AllCom will bill you separately. All of your calls will be itemized by dates and duration of calls.
Back

What are the payment options?
You may pay by check, Mastercard or Visa.

Do you have on line billing?
Each month, all long distance charges will be billed to the method of payment you have selected. Your call detail and end of month statement will be available online.

Are the rates higher to call to wireless or mobile phones?
Within the USA, calls to wireless or mobile phones bill at the same state to state or in-state rate.
Please be aware that calls to mobile or wireless phones in many countries bill at a higher rate. If you look at the international chart and there is no special rate for mobile phones, then they will bill the same as a land line call.

  Back

Do I have to dial any special codes to enjoy these rates?
No. Just pick up your phone and dial.

How do I place an international call?:
To make an international call: 011 + country code + city code + local number.
Please be aware that calls to mobile or wireless phones in many countries bill at a higher rate. If you look at the international chart and there is no special rate for mobile phones, then they will bill the same as a land line call.

Does AllCom credit the switching fees?
Yes. Your local telephone company may charge a fee of approximately $5.00 per line to change your long distance carrier selection. This fee may appear on your local telephone bill as a PICC Change Charge. You may receive a credit on your AllCom invoice to reimburse you for this charge. To qualify for the credit your lines must remain active on our service through three invoice periods. Refund requests must be submitted within six months of your original order together with a copy of your local telephone bill indicating a fee charged, and should be mailed or faxed with copies of the charge directly at AllCom customer service.

What is the USF?
All telecommunications carriers are required to contribute to the Federal Universal Service Fund (also known as USF) which provides communications services to schools, rural health care facilities, and certain other entities. The Federal Universal Service Fee is assessed on interstate and international calls only.

Are there any catch and trick I should be aware of?
No. Our rates are good 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are no sign up fees, no cancellation fees,  no special fees to enjoy our low international rates, no PICC fees on residential service, no "special charges" and no access line charges.
The only charges besides your calls are the USF and the taxes which are charged by every long distance carrier.

Back
